BEST TRAVEL PRODUCTS TO PACK
Sun Protection for Travel

Sunscreen is a MUST PACK travel item. The sunscreen by Neutrogena provides spf 45 protection without the typical strong smell you get with other products.
Lip balm with sunscreen is also an essential travel product to keep lips hydrated and protected while outdoors.
Facial Cleansing Cloths

After a day of adventure outdoors, it’s important to wash the daily grime (and makeup or sunscreen) off my face. Facial cleansing towelettes gently cleanse and tone your skin while removing pore-clogging dirt, oil, and make up.
Buff Headband

→ Our must-have travel accessory is buff headwear to protect us from the weather and insects. The headbands are versatile, dry quickly, wick away moisture, resist wind and odor, and can be worn 12 different ways.
I use it as a headband to keep my hair out of my face. I also wear it over my ears and around my neck when it’s cold or to protect those areas from annoying biting bugs. Dave wears his as a cap on his head and around his neck to protect those areas from the sun and bugs as well.
Rosalie from Rosalie Goes shares:
Mini Tangle Teezer

If you haven’t tried these out yet, they’re magic. I pack a mini Tangle Teezer on every trip I go on, regardless of whether it’s a short city break or month long trek through the wilderness. I love that I can use it on both wet and dry hair, and that it’s very easily cleaned. The miniature version is a useful travel product to throw in your purse or backpack for days when you don’t want to waste precious travel time going home to put yourself together again.
Metal Water Bottle

For me, the best item is a reusable water bottle. It’s absolutely essential, especially on any trips involving air travel. Besides keeping you hydrated, they can also act as a thermos for tea or soups on long hikes. I personally like the S’well metal water bottles for their size, durability, and temperature regulation.
Collapsible Travel Bag

I always travel with an extra collapsible travel bag. Make sure to choose one that’s lightweight and fold-able, but also durable enough to tote act as a backup luggage. My bag of choice is the Longchamp Le Pilage in black- which was durable enough to get me through high school and university without showing any wear and tear! Besides being just stylish enough to wear to nicer venues or events, it’s also water resistant, so anything you pack inside will be protected from rain or spills. It’s also discreet looking, so won’t bring any extra attention to yourself as a tourist like a rucksack.
Liza from Tripsget shares:
Makeup

When it comes to travelling, I can travel on the light, but there are some specific products that I always take with me. I’m obsessed with photos and videos, so I always take my small travel-size make-up palette to look good in the photos.
Selfie Stick

A selfie stick is an important travel gadget for me. It can act like a monopod for the photos and videos I take as I travel.
Earplugs

I can’t go anywhere without my earplugs. Don’t forget to pack this must-have travel product. I kept forgetting them for a while and that resulted in countless sleepless nights, so I’m trying not to make the same mistake again and again.
Rain Jacket

Finally, the third favorite travel product is my waterproof yellow rain coat, which saved me during my trips to Ireland, Balkans, the Isle of Skye and even Russia. No need to carry a bulky umbrella with me (and forget it everywhere).
Tania from Azure Sky Follows shares:
Mosquito Repellent

I generally travel in tropical regions. Monsoon happens to be the best time to enjoy the tropical greenery. Since I love hiking, I often find myself walking on trails under heavy monsoon downpour. The most disgusting part about travelling in this way is the mosquitoes that I need to handle. Packing mosquito repellent is an essential travel item for me. I can’t imagine going outside without wearing it.
Sunglasses

Sunglasses are an important travel accessory because I can’t stand direct sun rays on my eyes. When venturing on snow, I can’t imagine going outdoors without putting my sunglasses on. The whiteness all around and the reflecting sun rays blind me. I use Ray Ban sunglasses.
Amazon Tablets

I am a compulsive reader and my Amazon tablet is a lifesaver so I don’t get bored. All those monotonous moments in airports and airplanes are made bearable and interesting when I read my Kindle or tablet. I use the travelling time to read up guides of the places I will be visiting. A tablet is a great travel gadget if you want to enjoy movies, TV shows, songs, apps and games in addition to Kindle eBooks.
Matilda from The Travel Sisters shares:
Insulated Water Bottle

One of my favorite travel products I never leave home without is my Klean Kanteen insulated water bottle. Packing a reusable water bottle saves me from having to constantly buy bottles of water while traveling and it keeps my water cold all day.
Packing Cubes

Travel packing cubes are a must-have travel item for me because they keep me organized. It’s so much easier to pull out a packing cube and grab an item than dig through everything in my luggage. *Jamie chiming in here – this is one of our favorite travel gear items as well!
Hand Sanitizer

I always bring hand sanitizer with me when I travel –useful on dirty planes when there is no soap or water.

The top must-have items I definitely take on all my travels are my trusted backpack, passport holder and wet wipes.
Travel Laptop Backpack

My backpack has a laptop partition along with the regular pockets. It is really convenient for packing my must-haves on any trip. I pack two days’ worth of clothes, toiletry kit, a book and my laptop in my backpack.
Passport Holder

A passport holder helps me keep my travel documents safe and in one place. I always carry it on myself.
Wet Wipes

Wet wipes are a must for me as I keep wiping any surfaces I might touch for a long time in my travels.
Georgina from Georgina Does shares:
Multi Plug Adapter

Since arriving in Asia, there are two specific travel products that I have found super useful. The first item is a double plug adapter. You only need one socket to plug it in, but it has two USB outlets so I can charge a couple of things at once which is great.
Local Sim Card

The second item is a local sim! Whilst everyone else was scrambling for wifi in Kuala Lumpur, I had spent £4 on a local sim card which gave me almost twice as much data as I got from my £60 package back home!
Candy and Crystal from Travel Pockets share:
Cell Phone Purse
I’ve had a Bandolier iPhone accessory for over two years now and I can’t live without it. I never drop or lose my phone anymore. It’s also stylish and holds several credit cards. Cross body cell phone bags are also good travel products if you have other brands of cell phones.
Skyroam
For all of my international trips, I now take my handy personal Skyroam wifi hotspot. This year I have already used it in Costa Rica, Bali, and Thailand. It worked like a charm even in remote areas! Having reliable connection is a must for me on my travels.
Lavender Oil

I love traveling, but I am not a big fan of flying. To help calm my nerves, I always roll on some lavender oil as I’m boarding my flight. Lavender oil is useful in treating anxiety, insomnia, depression, and restlessness.
Allison from Eternal Arrival shares:
Personal Item Bag

Did you know the best way to avoid carry-on baggage restrictions is to use a personal item bag? You’ll need to find the perfect personal item bag that will hold everything you need during the flight, and it must also fit under the seat.
To be practical, the best personal item bag will be used on and off the plane. I use my bag as a travel daypack each day so it must be secure, comfortable and look good.
Melanie from Passport Amigo shares:
Travel Wallet
Use the travel wallet map cover to mark your journey. Stay organized on the road by keeping your passport and important small documents safe in the travel wallet.
The keepsake tin is a fun way to easily store your travel wallet and trip mementos once you return home.
